It’s a top-quality Moscow community designed especially with U of I students in mind. The Grove features a variety of spacious, furnished apartments plus a full set of community features such as a resort-style pool, clubhouse with study spaces, 24-hour fitness center, dog park and more.

Is The Grove at Moscow part of the University of Idaho?

Can I live with friends, or can you match me with roommates?

You can select your roommate(s), or you can apply on your own and we can match you with other students. Applicants answer a short list of lifestyle questions to help in the matching process.

What are per-person contracts?

Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person at The Grove has their own individual contract, with one person per bedroom. This means you are only responsible for paying for yourself — not your roommates. Even if a roommate moves out or other bedrooms in your apartment are empty, you only pay the rate for your bedroom.

What is included in the rate?

Each resident at The Grove pays a flat rate that includes:

  • Furnishings
  • In-unit laundry
  • High-speed internet
  • Water/sewer
  • Trash disposal
  • Community features – swimming pool, fitness center, etc.

What size are the apartments?

The spacious accommodations at The Grove at Moscow are available in 2 and 3 bedroom floorplans, with a private bedroom-bathroom suite for each resident.

Are the apartments furnished?

Yes, each apartment at The Grove has a furniture package that includes a full-size bed, desk and chair and dresser drawers in each bedroom. The living area includes a sofa and chair. The kitchen includes a dining table with chairs.

When do the contracts start and end?

The standard term is August 13, 2024 to July 21, 2025, with payments made in 12 equal installments. Limited alternate dates are available; please inquire with our staff. Click here for a sample agreement.

Is a co-signer or financial guaranty required?

Within 7 days after a Housing Agreement is signed, each resident is required to do one of two things: provide a qualifying guarantor (often a parent), or pre-pay the final 2 installments.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes. Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. The Grove at Moscow also offers automatic payment by either credit card or checking account — just fill out one page, one time and payments will be made automatically. Convenience fees apply for credit card and debit card payments.

Will my financial aid cover charges at The Grove?

Your living costs at The Grove can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at The Grove. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.

Is The Grove at Moscow open to non-students?

Nearly all the residents at The Grove at Moscow are students at University of Idaho and the per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Residents/families with children are welcome. There is no extra cost for minor children in the care of adult residents, other than regular charges for each bedroom space selected by the resident. A minor occupying a bedroom space rented by a parent, guardian or person with legal custody is not considered a breach of the Housing Agreement or a violation of the rules. The Grove is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students. In order to match student roommates in shared apartments, we will request roommate consent for any non-student occupants.

What kind of safety and security are provided?

The Grove at Moscow has a monitored fire-sprinkler system, along with individually locking bedroom doors. Management staff are also available 24×7 and can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.

What are the policies on pets, smoking and guests?

The Grove at Moscow is a pet-friendly community, subject to limits on animals and breeds. The community is smoke-free in all indoor and adjacent spaces. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of apartment-mates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.

Can I park my vehicle at The Grove?

The Grove at Moscow offers free on-site parking for residents and guests. Reserved parking is also available for an additional cost.

What other transportation options will I have?

A SMART Transit bus stops near the community at Styner and Main, and runs weekdays from 6:40am to 7pm and Saturdays from 8:10am to 4pm. There’s plenty of bike storage and free parking as well.

Can I see a model apartment?
